For this Demo Reel, I decided to montage my past projects during my time at William Woods University. Throughout the years, I have made projects that I love and some that I hate, but all of my work has gotten me to where I am. Yes, even those cringe-worthy lines that make me say, “I wrote that?” or every time I forget the basics of proper exposure have all taught me what I know now. It is important to embrace those projects, those memories, those moments, because without those, there really is no progress, no journey. You came, you stayed, and you left. No downs, sure, but certainly no ups.
This reel will highlight most of my projects with a few exceptions. You will see clips from Within (class film), Into the Night (individual short film), Scientific Expressionism (silent scene), Shoes (experimental film), Fun in the Sun (summer project), Eleanor & Park (book to film), March Matchness (client video), Equimeé (equine production commercial), Brick Blast (client video), Unsteady (music video), Film Noir (genre study), and Melodrama (genre study).
There are a few news packages from the Announcing and Reporting class: “South Callaway High School Basketball,” “Film Festival,” and “George Morris Clinic.”
And lastly, you will see graphics created for Unsteady, Within, Into the Night, Eleanor & Park, and Equimeé, as well as graphics created for First Flight Film Festival based on famous opening credits such as Stranger Things, Alien, The Matrix, Psycho, Vertigo, and Napoleon Dynamite.
